Two of our graudate students- Farhaan and Annelise- participated in the PANGEA 2026 Conference at Texas State University, presenting research in both paper and poster sessions alongside students and researchers in geography and environmental studies.

Paper Presentations

Cho Lab members presented in the “Climate Stories, Reimagined with AI” session:

  • Farhaan Cooverji“The Dome of Discomfort”
  • Annelise Holguin“Houston Underwater”

These presentations explored climate futures through innovative storytelling combined with AI-enhanced visualization, demonstrating creative approaches to communicating environmental challenges.

Poster Presentations

Both researchers also contributed to the poster session with impactful scientific work:
